Beacon Alpacas is an alpaca stud started by Jacqueline Barlow on a 20 acre farm near Thirsk in North Yorkshire. Since May 2012 it also incorporates the remainder of the Livanti Alpacas herd, a renowned alpaca stud started in 1999. We do “all things alpaca” including walking with the alpacas and welcome your inquiries about these fascinating creatures. We have alpacas for sale, provide stud services, sell quality alpaca products including yarn and knitwear and wonderful alpaca socks. We can provide training and advice and help you choose a starter herd or field guard and pet alpacas.
We are able to offer help and advice on choosing and rearing alpacas with a committed after sales service for customers new to alpaca keeping. The farm breeds and rears quality huacaya alpaca stock for sales, stud services and the prodution of fleece for yarn and luxury wool garments. Jacki has many years experience in alpaca husbandry assisting sister Liz Barlow a renowned show judge for more than 20 years, Liz was one of the first breeders in the uk who began Livanti Alpacas in Buckinghamshire.
